Waterflows slowly where soil particles are small but this speed increasesonce the soil at the surface becomes saturated.

Thesoil is sandy clay loam and its infiltration arte is 5mm/hour (SouthAustralian Research and Development Institute, n.d.)

4.Precipitation and infiltration

Whenprecipitation rate exceeds the infiltration rate, then surface runoffoccurs. Precipitation brings excess water, which moves fast than thesoil can absorb.

5.Hydrograph

Thepeaks represent the downpour or the rains, which increases the riverdischarge.

Howdoes your results compare to your hypothesis?

Theresults conforms to my hypothesis

Howwill real sediment be similar to and different from these beads?

Thesediments are similar to the beads when it comes to size andpermeability. However, the difference is in the shape where beadshave regular shape than real sediment that can make the results todiffer slightly.
